MISSION STATEMENT 

The primary purpose of the Corporation is to work  as a coordinator of resources and/or provider of services within the Counties of Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben so that by such combined integrated effort, a number of specific community issues, such as housing, economic development, community planning, discrimination, etc., can be quickly recognized and handled in the best interest of the entire community.  In the delivery and/or coordination of these services, particular emphasis will be given to lower‑ and middle‑income families.

VISION STATEMENT

Tri County Housing Council will be instrumental in the process of assisting the Chemung-Schuyler-Steuben area cultivate a community where all members live, without discrimination, in decent, safe and affordable housing.  Tri County Housing Council will be a leader among housing agencies and be recognized and respected for its timely development and delivery of rental assistance, homeownership grants and financial counseling services.
