Reverse Mortgage
Tri County's Housing Counselor will:
- Review eligibility requirements and types of reverse mortgage products
- Review costs of obtaining a reverse mortgage
- Calculate the amount of reverse mortgage for which the family would be eligible
- Review alternative options (i.e.: other funding for home repairs)
- Refer the client to other resources as applicable
Client will receive: 
- A fact sheet describing the HECM product
- "Home Made Money - A Consumer's Guide to Reverse Mortgages"
- "Just the FAQS: Answers to Common Questions About Reverse Mortgages"
- "A Housing Guide for Senior Citizens"
- A certificate of completion at the end of the counseling session; certificate is good for six months
